Oroi

OROI is a platform with virtual reality content used to carry out activities with elderly people. It provides customers with virtual reality devices and also the applications and training required for successful implementation as a therapeutic activity at senior citizen homes and day centres. It aims to arouse emotions in elderly people, with motivational enriching experiences for a positive impact on the mental and physical health of users.

The company offers its customers four different applications, to help professional operators by giving them predesigned tools:

• Oroi Wellbeing, which contains more than 200 virtual trips around towns, cities, museums and natural environments … the intention is for users to enjoy enriching experiences to the benefit of their mental health, such as visiting the locations associated with their own life stories.
• Oroi Cognitive, with interactive cognitive stimulation exercises to simulate day-to-day situations which may then be readily transferred to real life.
• Oroi Fit, virtual bike or rowing trips through natural or urban environments, geared towards physical rehabilitation and encouragement of physical exercise.
• OROI TV: Experiences in a televised format.
