Bio
Mª Antonia Olabarrieta Ibarrondo is currently Head of Social Services in the Basque Government's Department of Employment and Social Policies.
She has a degree in Education Sciences and Philosophy from the University of Deusto (Pedagogy section), and has worked in a number of public posts such as Secretary of Social Services for the Álava Provincial Council and councillor at Amurrio Town Hall, and among other functions she has worked as a pedagogue in the technical unit at Álava Province's Social Welfare Institute (IFBS).
