Sarah Thomas is a well-known AgeTech professional. With more than 20 years under her belt in the transformation of the ageing experience through the use of new technologies, she advises start-ups, large corporations and investors. Sarah is executive director of the multinational MezTal in Guadalajara, Mexico, and executive director of the Delight by Design consultancy firm, which creates products, brands, spaces and experiences to delight consumers throughout the various phases of their lives.
Sarah has worked in key leadership posts in the US and Asia, creating and implementing strategic corporate innovation strategies, including change management. She also works as “Executive in Residence” for AGING 2.0 and is a Principal Fellow of the Nexus Insights company, which works on the transformation of ageing. She also works as mentor for the business accelerator Techstars Longevity.
Sarah is the co-founder of AgeTech News, a digital medium specialising in AgeTech news and business, and is an active partner of AGETECH Capital and ThirdAct Ventures.
She previously worked as sales manager with Seismic Holdings, a company based in Silicon Valley which shapes human potential through the integration of wearables and robotics to boost strength and human performance.
Sarah also headed up global innovation for the largest supplier of post-acute care in the US, Genesis, which assists more than 55,000 people a day.
Sarah is the author of a number of publications, and now works in a number of advisory posts. She also sits on several boards, and is a well-known speaker on healthy longevity and innovation for the ageing process.
