Bio
Dov Sugarman is a renowned expert in AgeTech and services for the elderly. He is currently vice-president of BizDev & Strategy at EchoCare, which has developed a leading industrial solution to monitor security and wellness. He is also the co-founder of Avia Empowered Living, which empowers elderly people, enabling them to age at home by transforming their neighbourhoods into connected communities.
His career includes the following:
- The launch of SecureSeniorConnections, a secure virtual community where the elderly learn, chat and have fun.
- Management of Mediterranean Towers Ventures, the only Israeli fund investing exclusively in AgeTech companies.
- Collaboration with JDC-Eshel, Israel’s leading services agency for the elderly.
Before moving to Israel, Dov managed care facilities for the elderly in the United States. Dov is ambassador for Israel Aging2.0 and mentor at Techstars Future of Longevity Accelerator. He has a Master’s in Public Health in relation to long-term care.
