Adinberri Silver Forum 2023 will provide an opportunity to interact with the sociosanitary robot designed by Alisys which shares its name with the platform controlling it, Alberta. This is the platform’s first robotic agent, and by the end of this year Alisys hopes that it will be operating in 100 homes, and that by 2025 it will have become a tool to take a considerable amount of pressure off health systems by helping to boost the living standards of people in their own homes, extending their independent lives at home, and taking some of the pressure off care and health systems.
Alberta is Alisys’ technology platform to assist with care using robotic agents, and it will be presented at the Adinberri Silver Forum 2023. With this home assistance platform, Alisys intends to transform the way in which elderly people are cared for, extending their independent lives in their own home and taking the pressure off care and health services.
Thanks to the platform, the elderly will have a social robot in their own home connected to various health facilities and to care professionals controlling them from a central unit. This means it is possible to extend an independent life in the home, boost living standards, combat unwanted loneliness, and provide the elderly with a customised care service. Public and private health and care services, meanwhile, benefit from the data intelligence gathered from the platform, for the purposes of analysis and offering better care.
